Breast Augmentation

The most important results in breast augmentation are to achieve the perfect size, and excellent cleavage. In order to get beautiful cleavage, Dr. Elizabeth Fox makes sure that she does not dissect the lateral, outer portion of the breast, therefore the breast implant is placed more towards the center, giving better cleavage.

Dr. Fox feels that it is so important to listen to her patients when it pertains to the size and the shape of their breast implants. In addition, getting the upper area of the breast to the specification of the patient. Some patients want the high round look, some want just fullness, and a natural contour.

The upper area of the breast and the cleavage can be improved by choosing the perfect implant for a woman’s body. If the breast implant size is smaller and cleavage is still
very important ,than a breast lift, reducing the excess skin, will allow a better breast contour.

Anesthesia, is one fear of patients. At Fox Plastic Surgery Center, we do not do general anesthesia where a tube is required to go to sleep and noxious gases are breathed.

We perform local IV sedation with propofol. Patients are totally asleep but can wake up easily at the end of the case, in as little as 5 minutes (often asking “when do we start”), and they breathe on their own, and wake up and more alert.
